Captain Goodvibes: My Life as a Pork Chop
Captain Goodvibes was a cult Australian comic that ran in Tracks magazine from 1973-1981. The Captain himself was an irreverent, rude, perpetually stoned, surfing pig created by Tony Edwards. This book, put together by former Tracks editor Sean Doherty, is a collection of the run from Tracks, as well as the special issues that were released sporadically throughout this period. The book is also a memoir by Tony, of his life before, during and after The Captain, and it's not too difficult to imagine that The Captain's irreverent humour is matched by Tony's. As far as the design of the book goes, while it was quite complicated making the small (memoir) book work inside the big (comic) book, this one really seemed to design itself.
